Sarath S Kurup

Project Coordinator (Gen-Re Project), Sustera Foundation

Sarath is a Project Coordinator at Sustera Foundation’s Trivandrum Office, where his work focuses on smooth functioning of the Gen-Re Project which is a Participatory Climate Financing model. His expertise lies in Community Building, Business Development and Climate change awareness .

Prior to Sustera, he worked as a Program Officer (Livelihood Support Program) at Uravu Indigenous Science and Technology Study Centre at Wayanad. He also worked for Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation as a Business Development Executive .

Sarath holds a Masters in Business Administration specializing in Energy Management and Finance from Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS). And Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Calicut University.

Sarath is one of the Climate Leaders from the first cohort of the Climate Leadership Program (CLP) by Sustera Foundation in 2018. He is also a fellow of Terra.do Learning for Action , Bison Cohort in 2023. His hometown is Wayanad – a hilly district in Kerala.
